Supafolio Modules

  • Our Modules allow you to to setup customisable lists of titles
  • These lists are entered by Supafolio into a specific ‘Shortcode’
  • You can then add this shortcode into any page of your site

Step 1

  • Navigate to the Supafolio Modules section

Step 2

  • Click ‘+ Add New’ to create a new module

Step 3

  • Create a name for your module
    • For our example, we have called it ‘Titles Beginning with V’
    • We will be creating a shortcode for these titles – but you can create shortcode for any form of title that you wish
  • Click ‘ISBN Lookup’
  • Don’t wory about the ‘Search Results’ and ‘Product Details’ options – these are managed separately by Supadu
  • Click ‘Next’

Step 4 – Content

  • Select your required form of ISBN entry
    • The ‘Manually enter single ISBN(s)’ option allows you to enter ISBNs one at a time
    • The ‘Manually enter bulk ISBNS(s)’ option allows you to enter multiple ISBNs in one, by separating each ISBN with a comma or line
    • The ‘Display a Supafolio collection’ option allows you to choose one of our pre-existing collections – you don’t have to enter any ISBNs for this
  • Enter your ISBN(s)
  • Click ‘Add ISBN(s)’ to enter your titles into the shortcode
In this example, we’ve chosen the ‘Enter bulk ISBN(s)’ option
If using this option, don’t forget to separate each ISBN with a comma or new line

Step 5 – Elements

  • This sub-section allows you to select which details of your chosen titles are shown when you enter your Shortcode onto a page
  1. Select which details to ‘Show’, and which to ‘Hide’ on the right of this page
  2. Edit any necessary sub-details of each field
In this example, our Shortcode will show our ISBNs Book Cover, Title Author name & Format

Step 6 – Arrangement

  • This sub-section allows you to select how your Shortcode will be displayed on the desired page

1.Grid – your titles will be shown in grid format

  • ‘ How many ISBN(s) per row:’ – here you choose how many titles show on each row of the grid
  • ‘ How to order your ISBN(s): ‘ – here you can choose in what order your titles will appear on your grid
    • For example, you may want to order your titles alphabetically, or chronologically

2.List – your titles will be shown in grid format

  • ‘ How many ISBN(s) per row:’ – choose how many titles show on each row of your list
  • ‘ Display cover on the left or the right:’ – choose whether your title covers show on the right or left of their related descriptions
  • ‘ How to order your ISBN(s): ‘ – here you can choose in what order your titles will appear on your list
    • For example, you may want to order your titles alphabetically, or chronologically

3.Carousel – your titles will be shown in carousel format – this is similar to list, but is interactive and can be used by users to navigate your selected titles

  • ‘ How to order your ISBN(s): ‘ – here you can choose in what order your titles will appear on your carousel
    • For example, you may want to order your titles alphabetically, or chronologically
  • ‘ Navigation dots:’ – shows circular dots under each title which can be used to navigate titles
  • ‘ Navigation arrow:’ – shows an arrow either side of the carousel row, which can be used to navigate titles
  • ‘Number of books per row’ – how many titles will show on your page
  • ‘Number of books to scroll by’ – how many new titles will show on each navigational click
  • ‘Scroll speed (ms)’ – how quickly new titles will show on each navigational click
  • ‘Infinite Scroll’ – Rather than stopping at the end of the carousel’s titles, the carousel will continue to the first title
  • ‘Auto play’ – the carousel will move automatically – but can still be navigated by users
  • ‘Lazy load images’

Step 7

  • Select ‘Save Changes’
  • Supafolio will now show your shortcode towards the top of your page

Step 8

  • When you want to enter your shortcode to a page, select the code by clicking once on it, and right-click copy it

Step 9

  • Navigate to the page you’d like to enter your Shortcode into
  • Edit this page
  • Right-click Paste your Shortcode into a new WordPress block

  • Update your page

Step 11

  • Your module will now show where you entered your piece of Shortcode
